Aim: To look at the causes of climate change and how to prevent it.

The ice is melting and making more water also its piloting the air

What will happen if the ice melts in Antarctica and the Arctic?
There will be more water in the sea, more floods, and more bad things to do with water.

How does this affect people?
People are losing land, losing oxygen and just making it harder to live

What other things affect oceans change?
The oceans are getting warmer

What does to much heat do to coral?
It will kill them and make them extinct

Why did some industries not want to stop burning fossil fuels?

Because they might lose money and they might have to shut down

Investigation

You can decide on how you would like to do this investigation. Your presentation could be on the blog, slides, or Powerpoint.

Write a definition, upload an image and list where these fossil fuels are mined.

1. Coal    It is a black or dark brown rock that is planted in the ground.

3. Oil   A liquid fuel that gives bad pollution into that air

5. Natural Gas  Stuff that is naturally under ground.

Solar energy us when like the sun hits a solar panel and creates energy for humans to use. The energy is really good for powering or charging stuff we need. Germany uses solar power lots because in that part of Europe they use loads of energy. Also Spain uses loads of solar power as well for basically the same reason. Also some other country's uses solar power as well but mostly Spain and Germany

Some country's has wind mills to make energy for power. The energy is also used to make power and electricity for people to use. One of the country's that use wind power a bit is France and they use wind power for the same reason as some other countries. One of the other country's that use wind power is Canada they also have lots of wind similar to France.

Wave power is also another source of energy used for electricity, power and stuff like that. one of the country's that use wave power a lot is Sweden. I guess it has a lot of waves and it is strong enough to use its waves to create power. Another country that uses wave power a lot is Spain this country also has a lot of waves.

3. Hydro power is a power that us used by water to create energy, and the energy creates power. The power is used to charge devices, turn on lights, and do more stuff like that. One of the 2 countries that uses hydro power the most is New Zealand. New Zealand has loads of water in it's country and it can easily use Hydro power. The other country is Brazil it also has loads of water like New Zealand and it can use hydro power.

Write a 6 sentence reflection about what you have learnt about Climate Change and how it is going to affect us.  

I think I learned about how bad climate change is actually is and I never knew how hot the earth was. I also learned if in the next 10 years if we don't do anything it can get even worse. Also I never knew that if animals get to hot they can actually die like some of the animals in the video. I also learned about what countries use what powers the most, and also the definition of the bad things. I think it was really cool to see the video but it was also kind of different to watch the video then get the answers down on the questions. I think it was a cool video and I learned a lot of things about climate change.
