In English we read the stoey Yellow Brick Road by Witi Ihimeara and had to answer questions.
1. Why does narraotor beleive they are moving to Wellington?
The money
2. On page 1, what big difference between Wautihi and Wellington does the narraotor mention?
More Pakeha people and jobs.
3. On page 3, we find out that Dad told Uncle Sam they were moving to Wellington because?
So they have more job oppurtunities and better life.
4. How does the narraotor attitude towards moving change once they draw nearer to the city?
They weren't as excited as they were at the start.
5. Emrald city, Yellow Brick Road, Flying Monkeys, scarecrow, tinman, cowardly lion, are all alllusions to what famous book? Why do you think the author made this comparision?
The wizard of oz and because its a journey.
